NW Common Grounds is a welcoming private campground in the Pacific Northwest offering full-hookup RV sites, tent camping, and family-friendly stays beneath the evergreens. At select locations, we also provide secure RV, boat, trailer, and equipment storage, so the gear that carries your adventures is always ready for the next one.
Planned security features may include fencing, controlled access, lighting, and video monitoring.
Security measures are intended to discourage unauthorized access but cannot guarantee that theft, damage, loss, injury, or unauthorized entry will never occur. Final security features and customer responsibilities will be stated in the applicable campground or storage agreement.
Friendly Planned: Vancouver/Washougal to Long Beach Peninsula
Planned services
The campground is the heart of what we're building: full-hookup RV sites, tent camping, and family-friendly stays. At select locations, secure RV, boat, trailer, and equipment storage completes the plan. Every service below is in development and labeled as planned until we open.

Every experience on this page is planned and will depend on the property selected, permits, environmental and shoreline regulations, health-department requirements, and applicable rules. We do not yet own a campground property and cannot guarantee any specific feature. The waitlist is the best way to hear what is confirmed first.
Current site availability & vacancies
The facility is in development and planned to open June 2027, so there are no open spaces to rent today. The free waitlist is how we share confirmed news: waitlist members are expected to receive early notice when confirmed information and reservations become available.
Planned amenities
The amenity plan comes together in four groups: laundry and RV care, entertainment and experiences, morning comforts, and a campground office and convenience store. From the laundry room to the last song of Saturday's live band, the plan is thoughtful at every step. Families are the point: everyone gets a warm way to begin the day, a clean place to rest, and room to be together.
And a friendly welcome
Behind every planned amenity is the same promise: real people who answer questions, help you pick the right site, and treat your family like neighbors. That part isn't coming soon, it's how the four of us already do business.

We believe a successful campground should benefit the community around it. As we develop NW Common Grounds, we want to connect with local contractors, tradespeople, suppliers, food producers, artists, service providers, and small businesses. We will be requesting competitive bids, estimates, qualifications, and proposals for the many services and materials required to turn the selected property into a safe, welcoming campground. Whenever reasonably possible, we plan to consider qualified local and community-based companies. Submitting information does not guarantee selection or the award of a contract.
Local businesses, tourism organizations, service providers, and community groups: as our properties come online, we want to work with the people and places that make our communities worth building in. Tell us how you would like to collaborate.
We'll also be displaying our community partners' company names and information in our office, so visitors to the property can discover the businesses we're proud to work with.
No obligation, just the start of a good working relationship.
Our vision
NW Common Grounds began the way the best trips do: four friends around a campfire, dreaming about the kind of place we would want for our own families. Roxsandra, Chris, Shannon, and James wanted a welcoming campground where families pull in, plug in, and make memories around the fire, and, at select locations, secure storage for RVs, boats, trailers, and equipment watched over like it was our own between trips.
That is the whole vision: a welcoming campground under the pines for families and travelers, secure storage at select locations for the rig and gear that carry them, and one honest standard. Your vehicles, your belongings, your adventures, and your memories are protected here. We are building the places we always wished existed, on the way to the coast, for the families we are proud to serve.
